A slice of Life in The City of Peace

5,400 meters high (that's 17,550 ft) at Chacaltaya, the world's highest ski resort (sort of). When the Brits came to visit (Kate and Denys from Wales) we hiked up there, as well as strolled aroung the canyons just below La Paz.

There is a march for something everyday. This one is to keep the capital in La Paz, even though the capital is Sucre. I know....it's confusing.

Raúl sometimes moonlights as a rock star.....pretending to play at TV station quest appearances when real memebers of the band can't show up.

Renewing a visa...Brad and I border hopped last week, so here is a recent photo of me at the world's supposed highest lake
